OCHT



MANAGEMENT
The fund is currently managed by existing staff of Neighborhood Housing Services of Orange County. It is anticipated that as the fund grows the Trust will require one to three dedicated staff including an executive officer to operate the Trust which will include marketing and promoting the Trust, raising additional funds, managing the distribution of funds and protecting the assets of the fund.
 



 

 

 












MANAGEMENT
The responsibilities of staff assigned to or hired for the Orange County Housing Trust shall include:

» Raising funds to support the programs of the OCHT

» Marketing and promoting the OCHT to its various constituents

» Assisting prospective applicants requesting OCHT funds in the preparation of their applications

» Monitoring the use of distributed funds to assure compliance with the purpose and guidelines of the OCHT and the conditions under which the monies were granted or loaned

» Maintaining all records of the OCHT

» Preparing reports for the governing body, funders and public
The executive officer in coordination with the NHS OC finance manager will be responsible for:

• Collecting and disbursing OCHT monies

• Maintaining and managing a separate account or accounts for OCHT monies

• Maintaining financial records for the OCHT
